This presentation aims to investigate lecture comprehension difficulties encountered by Omani EFL engineering students, and the coping strategies that they used to handle them in an English-medium undergraduate programme. The presenter will report some salient difficulties experienced by students and the strategies used to handle them. Intended audience: EAP/ESP practitioners.
