Critical Thinking in the Language Classroom

This session looks at practical ways in which teachers can help students improve their critical thinking skills. A number of activities are presented: solving problems , distinguishing fact from opinion, finding chains of reasoning, analysing data and building strong arguments. Using 'thinking frameworks’ to organise ideas is also discussed .
