This presentation will explore how Massive Multiplayer Online Videogaming (MMORPG) supports language and literacy practices. Videogames are often dismissed as time wasters, yet research shows that MMORPGs support learning in dynamic ways. By understanding the theoretical framework of videogaming, educators learn how MMORPGs support learners.
