Teaching academic writing to a large, mixed abilities group is difficult. The presenter will discuss how individualizing instruction through diagnostic writing, color-coding for better understanding, learning through self-evaluation, and reversing the writing process can help students develop their essay-writing skills, and allow teachers to individually assist students.
